Jones, Patriots’ passing game won’t have it easy
The Patriots’ offensive line will be put to the test in pass protection today. Carolina’s defense is pressuring quarterbacks on a third of dropbacks, according to TruMedia. That’s the fifth best in the NFL. It is averaging 2.28 seconds before getting pressure. Quarterback Mac Jones will need to get the ball out quickly.

Saints’ Siemian might be poised for a surprisingly strong passing day
An important note for Trevor Siemian versus the Falcons’ pass rush: Atlanta ranks last coming into Week 9 in quarterback pressure rate at 24.1 percent (via TruMedia) and sacks with 10. That, combined with a good offensive line, could open up the passing game for Siemian.
